I like photography. And drawing. But photography is special. It's really cool. A picture can say a thousand words.
Yeah, I'm not that great at drawing. And the photography thing is just an excuse.
Also, I take a lot of pictures of cats. Like seriously, I take loads. My cats have probably all been blinded now, by my flash. Oh well, I feed them.

a 9 year old compact camera and pencils, now I use a brand new bridge camera and a Nikon D50 with a 18- 50mm kit lens or a Tamron 70-300mm telephoto lens as the 9 year old is now retired.

So I started up a blog last year that has my photography and thngs on it, mainly photography. It has a couple of tutorials and hints and tips mostly to do with editing so if anyone wants a look, I'd be more than happy for you all to read it :) It's rebekahrogersphotography.blogspot.co.uk
I do tutorials on there as well so if anybody wants to know how to do something with Photoshop or Gimp involving photo-editing, I'll lend a hand with that :)

So today I got a letter from the college saying that they wanted to confirm my place on the HNC/D which is a 2 year course so I can't wait to start at the end of next month :)

So I'm officially a photography student at Aberdeen college.
It's just the NC course, so it's not like it's too hard, but it's a good course with lots of practical stuff and after 2 years of exams and essays I need something that's a bit more fun. It's great doing something that's enjoyable. I wish I'd left school sooner, but I'm glad that I went to college last year because it built my confidence up and got me right out of my little shell that I'd become far too comfortable in.
Never regret anything you do, because in the end it makes you who you are :)

Aw, thanks. ^.^ Yeah- the ones with the blonde model, where the sea looks particularly cold, were shot at Aberdeen beach! We got some really weird looks from the passing joggers! Lol. I think the rest are at beaches further North!
I can imagine. I haven't been to the Aberdeen beach in ages. I've went swimming at Fraserburgh beach last year in summer so I know how cold the north sea is. I don't think I know anyone who would agree to standing in the sea for me haha.
